Good Evening to all, I am going to be going on a bit of a rant today. After all the research I have done on Veteran Suicide, weeding through the fake (like the crap the VA puts out, making themselves look “so good” and like they aren’t the problem) information being put out, I came across some astonishing numbers and I have to admit, it really irritates me deep down, so we will just dive right in.
LGBT Veterans are 7x more likely to die by suicide than their non-LGBT Veteran Brothers and Sisters. So Veterans are already more than 57% likely to die by suicide when compared to their civilian peers, but on top of that, within that 57% you have the LGBT Veterans who are 7x more likely to die by suicide. That was some absolutely horrible information to find out. So now begins my rant on things about that which really irritate me…
So over the last almost 2 years we have seen a lot of crap going on, from trying to strip rights from us, horrible supply chain issues, gas at an all time high, everything being blamed on everyone else except who the blame should go to, to child trafficking and other crimes being brought to light but somehow those involved are never held accountable for their crimes (like all the Hollywood people and other elitists who took part in the horrible things that happened on Epstein Island and the Lolita Express, but that is not the topic today), we’ve seen the far left extremists coming out of the woodwork pushing their agenda on our children, trying to sexualize them, trying to make them think they are not who they are, confusing them with all the indoctrination garbage they have been trying to shove down their throats, all the while trying to normalize pedophilia and let it become mainstream. Those people who have done these things and say they are part of the LGBT community are the ones I refer to as the Alphabet Mafia, they are the sickos and perverts who are trying to push their agendas, along with many many other things being pushed at them right now, on our children. Then you have the ACTUAL LGBT Community, the ones who just want the same rights as everyone else, the ones who go to work every day busting their ass day in and day out, just trying to live their lives how they want to live their lives, those are the ones I will be referring to in the rest of this post.
With all the parades, rallies, protests, and everything else in the LGBT Community that happens on a pretty consistent basis, why is it that I never ever ever hear them speaking about Veteran Suicide, since it affects their community on such a large scale? I have heard them talk about Suicide and how it affects their community, but NOT ONCE have I ever heard any of them talk about Veteran Suicide and how that affects their community. Why? Pretty simple question if you ask me, but no one has been able to give me a straight, factual, and reasonable answer. I have been told by some what they THINK is the answer as they see it in their mind, but no one has been able to factually tell me why they don’t talk about it. That is what irritates me. Not only do they have everything they deal with being part of the LGBT Community and how that affects them, but on top of that they have to deal with being a Veteran and everything that entails too, so who is speaking out for them? Who is helping them? There are tons of organizations out there that assist Veterans, that are helping to fight the 22 A Day Endemic, and yes that means all Veterans.
I guess the point I am trying to make is this:
1) The LGBT Community needs to fight for ALL of their community using facts to do so, NOT just a blanket or in general fight, their ENTIRE Community needs to feel like they are being represented.
2) The Veteran Community needs to fight for ALL of their community, also using facts, also making sure to make sure that every member in the community feels represented and fought for.
3) The Military Community needs to do more and fight more for ALL of their community, making sure to help Veterans more with transitioning, and making sure that EVERY SINGLE MEMBER feels represented and fought for.
Anyway, that is my rant for the day, if there is anything I missed, send me a message and I will make sure I clarify and/or fix it. As always, I love every one of y’all, especially my fellow Vets, if ANY of my fellow Vets need someone to talk to, please reach out to me, I am ALWAYS here for you.
