Good Evening to every one of you beautiful people. Got some random thoughts cause this has been on the forefront of my mind, so here we go.
I do this for a couple main reasons, and by this I mean the blog, and one of the main reasons the business was started. First reason is to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide, as it is an epidemic that has plagued our country for far too long, and there is not only not enough TRUTHFUL information out there about it (regarding numbers and such), but there is also nowhere near the attention on this epidemic that it deserves. The second being that this has been a passion for a long time, and I never really knew what to do about it – until I started the business. Then the blog came along, next will be a podcast as soon as I get the funds to purchase the equipment, then sometime down the line in the future comes the next part of the plan that I talked about in the last post.
We have all seen what suicide does, not only to the Veteran before it happens, but to their friends, family, and loved ones afterwards. We have all tried to talk down fellow Veterans from doing it, and we have all had those thoughts ourselves. I mean that darkness we battle is quite the lonely place, but it doesn’t have to be. Call out for me and I will come find you in there and help you in any way that I can. You are NOT alone. If I cannot help you, then I will help you find someone who can. Just know that you are never alone, even in the darkest moments when it feels that you are. The things that plague your mind matter and are important, so if anyone tells you otherwise – simply tell them that I said they can go kindly fuck right off. Do not ever let anyone make you feel any kind of way negatively, because of your battles, I will stick by your side! I GOT YOUR SIX BATTLE!
